Knights Templar  Notre-Dame Temple Mount FIRES

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacques_de_Molay

Jacques de Molay (French: [də mɔlɛ]; c. 1243 – 18 March 1314), also spelled "Molai",[2] was the 23rd and last Grand Master of the Knights Templar, leading the Order from 20 April 1292 until it was dissolved by order of Pope Clement V in 1312.[3] Though little is known of his actual life and deeds except for his last years as Grand Master, he is one of the best known Templars.

Jacques de Molay's goal as Grand Master was to reform the Order, and adjust it to the situation in the Holy Land during the waning days of the Crusades. As European support for the Crusades had dwindled, other forces were at work which sought to disband the Order and claim the wealth of the Templars as their own. King Philip IV of France, deeply in debt to the Templars, had Molay and many other French Templars arrested in 1307 and tortured into making false confessions. When Molay later retracted his confession, Philip had him burned upon a scaffold on an island in the River Seine in front of Notre-Dame de Paris in March, 1314.[4] Both the sudden end of the centuries-old order of Templars and the dramatic execution of its last leader turned Molay into a legendary figure.

After seven years of torture and imprisonment in the dungeons of Paris, Jacques DeMolay, the Grandmaster of the Knights Templar and three of his Brothers were taken to the great door of Notre Dame to face the Pope’s ecclesiastical tribunal in order to learn their fate.

The Templar trial would be held at the Parvis of Notre-Dame Cathedral atop a wood scaffolding and temporary fire pit erected in front of the massive stone statues of gargoyles, demons, and angels. The Parvis of Notre Dame served in ancient days was a place of punishment.

When DeMolay was asked to repeat his confession of guilt for heresy, he hesitated. Looking around at the devilish grins of the demonic attendants fueling the flames of lies around him, DeMolay protested his innocence by recanting his story as he summoned Pope Clement to appear before the judgment-seat of God in forty days and King of France, Philip the Fair within a year, and both, it is well known, died within the periods specified. (See Transactions of the Quatuor Coronati Lodge, Vol. 20.)

The magistrates were stunned by his actions and the crowd who came to watch his execution grew with excitement at is valor.

Delomay’s protest was a death sentence. His Prophetic words, immortal.

Agasp of what to do, King Phillip did not wait to consult the Church as to the Templar’s sentence so he summoned DeMolay to die along with the three other Templars in the hellish flames already burning furiously near their feet. His defiance only sealed his fate which fanned the flames hotter.

DeMolay and the three other Templars was quickly burnt “in the little island ” of the Seine “between the Augustinians and the royal garden.”

Notre-Dame: Massive fire ravages Paris cathedral

  • 16 April 2019

A major fire has engulfed the medieval cathedral of Notre-Dame in Paris, one of France's most famous landmarks.

The 850-year-old Gothic building's spire and roof have collapsed but the main structure, including the two bell towers, has been saved, officials say.

Firefighters are still working to contain the blaze as teams try to salvage the artwork stored inside.

President Emmanuel Macron called it a "terrible tragedy". The cause of the fire is not yet clear.

Officials say it could be linked to the renovation work that began after cracks appeared in the stone, sparking fears the structure could become unstable.

Paris prosecutor's office said it had opened an inquiry into "accidental destruction by fire". A firefighter was seriously injured while tackling the blaze.

Fire breaks out near mosque on Temple Mount

APRIL 16, 2019 16:38

The Marwani Prayer Hall, also known as Solomon's Stables, is located at the base of the corner of the Temple Mount where the Southern and Eastern walls meet, near the stairs up to the Al Aqsa Mosque.

The Knights Templar Headquarters – Temple Mount

In 1099, Christian Crusaders seized Jerusalem from Muslim rule. There are many famous Bible stories about Jesus that take place at Temple Mount, including challenging Jewish leaders of corruption and extortion. The Knights Templar set up their headquarters in the mosque at Temple Mount. The symbolic importance of this meant that the Knights Templar were now physically connected to all of the biblical events taking place at this location. The collection of warrior knights and religious monks were perfectly embodied with this location. Beneath the mosque, 60,000 square feet served the purpose of stabling their horses to constantly be ready to defend Jerusalem. The Templar Knights were now centrally located in the Holy Lands.

By the time the Templars were founded around 1118, the Christian king of Jerusalem had been using the Al Aqsa as a palace. But from the outset, the Templars expressed a strong desire to be based in the Temple of Solomon (or Al Aqsa if you prefer). Remarkably, the king agreed to this and the Al Aqsa was rebranded the Temple of Solomon. The Templars extended the building – and you can still see their additions today – and reportedly dug underneath it……looking for treasure!

What were the Templars up to? Let’s consider some of the theories in circulation:

  • Solomon’s treasure and that of other kings of Jerusalem lay buried underground
  • The Ark of the Covenant, which contained the tablets given to Moses, had disappeared centuries ago. Maybe it was underneath the Temple of Solomon. If so, its awesome power could be used by the Templars
  • The Turin Shroud. The Holy Grail. The Holy Lance. The Crown of Thorns. All are held up as candidates for treasure found under the Temple of Solomon
  • The head of John the Baptist was buried there as opposed to the various churches in Europe that claimed to have it
  • One theory even has the Templars discovering the head of Jesus
