Kiwoom Heroes held an agreement ceremony with Goyang Special City on the 14th to extend the Futures

The signing ceremony, which was held at Goyang Special City Hall, was attended by Kiwoom Heroes CEO Wi Jae-min, Goyang Special City Mayor Lee Dong-hwan, and Kim Hye-sung from Goyang Little Baseball Team.

In November 2018, the club signed an agreement with Goyang Special City to establish the Futures Team and launched the Goyang Heroes. Since the 2019 season, the Goyang National Baseball Training Center has been used as its home stadium.

Based on the trust built over the past five years, the two sides signed an agreement to extend their ties for another five years until 2028. In addition, they promised to continue joint marketing and social contribution activities for the development of sports culture in Goyang, as well as the operation of the Futures League.

"We are happy to continue our partnership with Goyang Special City," Kiwoom Heroes CEO Wi Jae-min said. "Goyang Heroes is a place that plays an important role in fostering the team's future resources."

In addition, he vowed, "I will try to cultivate many good players with the interest and support from the city," and, "The club will also do its best to make Goyang Heroes a team loved by 1.07 million Goyang citizens."
