American basketball has confirmed the world's best for both men and women.

The U.S. women's basketball team, led by head coach Cheryl Reeve, beat host France 67-66 in the '2024 Paris Olympics Women's Basketball Final' held at the Versi Arena in Paris, France, early on the 12th.   파워볼사이트

The U.S. women's basketball team won 10 Olympic gold medals, one silver, and one bronze. The U.S. set a new record by beating France in both men's and women's basketball games.

The U.S. women's basketball team has achieved the gold medal of eight consecutive Olympics. The U.S. lost the gold medal to the Commonwealth of Independent States at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. Since the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, the women's basketball team has not lost in eight consecutive games.

The highest number of gold medals ever won by an individual, Diana Turassie, has been increased to six. Turassie set a new record by representing the U.S. for 20 years since the 2004 Athens Olympics.

It was not an easy victory. The U.S. drew some of the best players from the WNBA. However, France was not easy, either. France was also on par with the other in terms of physique and skill.

From the first quarter, it was difficult to score due to a huge defensive game. The U.S. led the first quarter 15-9. Eiza Wilson's buzzer-beater tip-in shot barely tied the score in the first half of 25-25.

France only yielded 10 points to the U.S. in the second quarter thanks to its outstanding defense capabilities. France scored nine points in the third quarter, 34-25.

In the end, defense was the key. Eiza Wilson defended under the basket with several block shots. As the U.S. fastball exploded, the team turned it around 45-43 in the fourth quarter.

It was 55-55 with about three minutes left before the end. Wilson's jump shot hit the top of the backboard and was lucky to go in. With Williams' successful jump shot, France caught up to 59-60 with one minute and 32 seconds left before the end

Calea Copper scored a layup shot to widen the gap to three points. Williams' attempt at a tying three-point shot ended in an air ball. Wilson's travelling gave France the right to attack. France scored a three-point shot with 3.8 seconds left in the end, but it was too late. France, which was trailing by three points, even scored a buzzer beater, but lost by one point as it was treated as two points.

Wilson played the biggest role in the gold medal with 21 points, 13 rebounds, and four blocks. Plum and Copper added 12 points each. The U.S. had only 2/12, 16.7 percent of 3-pointers and 19 turnovers, showing its worst performance, but only managed to win.

France's Williams did well with 19 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals, but failed to overcome the last-minute crisis.
