"The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, founded under an act of parliament and recognized as a nationally significant institution, conducts an entrance examination to admit students to MBBS courses. This test, popularly referred to as AIIMS MBBS, provides admissions to 707 seats spread across the country's seven AIIMS institutions, namely AIIMS New Delhi, AIIMS Bhopal, AIIMS Bhubaneswar, AIIMS Jodhpur, AIIMS Patna, AIIMS Raipur, and AIIMS Rishikesh. Reduced examination centers–The NEET AND AIIMS examination cities have been reduced to a total of 151 cities across India this year. The list of cities 2019 did not include Bahadurgarh (Haryana), Baramullah (Jammu and Kashmir) and Kanyakumari (Tamil Nadu). Itanagar has also replaced the city of Naharlagun in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. Last year, the examination took place in the country's 154 major cities. 100 MBBS seats in AIIMS Nagpur and Guntur — The authority added 50 MBBS seats in each of AIIMS Guntur and AIIMS Nagpur Increase in Seat Intake — At the beginning of the final registration process, AIIMS, New Delhi released the total number of seats available. A total of 1,207 MBBS seats will be offered at 9 AIIMS Institutes through AIIMS MBBS. NEET AND AIIMS registration login extended–The last date of the AIIMS application form has been extended until 14 January. Change in eligibility Criteria for PwD applicants— The minimum marks required to qualify for Class 12 AIIMS MBBS 2019 in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are 45 percent. The minimum required percentage was 50 percent earlier. Two new AIIMS Institutes-Two new AIIMS Institutes will be introduced in Guntur and Nagpur for the academic session 2019-20, making a total of 11 institutes throughout India. Change in AIIMS application process-PAAR (Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration) facility can be used to fill out the AIIMS MBBS application form 2019. As per the PAAR facility, two major steps-basic registration and final registration-will be involved in the application process. The basic registration required basic details to be submitted. The candidates must submit qualification details, application fees, and choice of exam city in the final registration.
