Alois Vavrouš's renovation of an interwar building infuses modern design into a historic neighborhood.

Offers are abundant in the Libeň district of Prague. Because of these convenient public transportation, cafes, and pubs, as well as a neighborhood that has a distinctly smaller feel, residents feel well-connected in the district.

In a newly renovated landmark situated on the corners of Konšelská and Lindnerova Streets, an elegant, early-20th-century structure is bringing the cobblestone streets of Libeň back to life, conveying a visual expression of the community and evolving while preserving the feel of a historic neighborhood.  studio qatar

During the early days of the first Czechoslovak state, the architectural firm of Alois Vavrouš and his son Čestmír designed the Rezidence Nad Korábem, an interwar apartment building that now serves as a history museum. Many of the original character traits have been retained, but the building has been fully renovated to meet the standards of the buyers looking to purchase in this neighborhood.

The Libeň golden age lasted from the time that World War One ended until the beginning of World War Two. Several wealthy industrialists, as well as aristocrats, moved in because they wanted to be close to the city.

A rise in the number of housing units also occurred because workers who worked in the factories nearby needed somewhere to live.

Not only in Prague but also in the Czech Republic, the Vavrouš architectural team created many significant buildings. Residential buildings in Teplice, a private villa in Jilemnice, and a hotel in Bardejov are also included.

After creating the town of Libeň, Vavrouš and Son established the town's headquarters on Na Stráži Street with the Vavrouš Villa, which can still be seen on the street today.

Nad Korábem, where the Rezidence Nad Korábem is located, is conveniently connected to the center of Prague via public transportation.

The tram stop Vosmikovsky (the first stop on the Vosmikovsky tram line) is a two-minute walk from Rezidence Nad Korabem, while the U Kříže stop (the last stop on the U Kříže tram line) is only four minutes away. Alternatively, you can walk to Palmovka's Metro B station, which is a little further away. In Prague, the metro can get you anywhere you want to go quickly. To drive to Prague, the home is situated close to the city's inner ring road.

Košinka, locally known as Pod Korábem, is a short walk away from Rezidence Nad Korábem. Because the park is composed of wooded areas, it feels like you're right in the middle of nature.

A trail of plaques contains the identification data for several of the trees. A new playground provides recreation for children, making it a fairly new structure. In the lower part of the park, there is a geological exhibition with ten rocks that depict the local geology. The school is located at the very edge of the park. The property's border is marked by a row of garden homes.

The site of the park once contained a portion of a farmstead and vineyard known as Košinka, which dates back to the 15th century. Hermann Grab, the businessman who purchased the entire estate in 1879, built the Grab Villa next door. The building currently serves administrative purposes for the Prague 8 area. On special occasions, some of the rooms are opened to the public.

Additionally, the Libeň Chateau, a Renaissance castle that is also in use by the district, is located near the other two sites. Most musical performances take place in the ballroom of the chateau. While the chateau's past is linked to the Gothic era, the current Rococo design was created in the 1770s.

Art Nouveau architecture and the work of Czech architect Vojtěch are on display in the Church of Saint Adalbert (Vojtěch) in between the chateau and the Grab Villa. While it is still in operation, serving the local Roman Catholic community, it is known as St. Columba Catholic Church. In the former location of a Jewish synagogue that is now nearby to the Palmovka metro stop, various art exhibitions and community events take place.

To reach the Rokytka stream and the Vltava River, you have to go through the chateau's grounds. A bicycle and pedestrian trail follows the Vltava to Prague Zoo, and as far as the city limits.

There has recently been a notable development, the construction of a new modern Operation Anthropoid Memorial in 2009. One of the most daring World War II events took place in this location, when Czechoslovak paratroopers assassinated a top German official in 1942. The memorial has three figures standing atop a steel pillar, each with their arms extended to the side.

The construction of the O2 Arena in 2004 started a wave of improvements in the neighborhood. Next to the arena, the Galerie Harfa shopping mall opened in 2010. The shopping center and arena were built on the site of an industrial factory that was previously utilized.

In addition to several other office and mixed-use projects that have followed, Libeň has a casual feel thanks to these new developments.

Now that the building is renovated, the new flats have balconies with expansive views of the courtyard. The stairs were upgraded with an elevator, which connects all of the floors.

Residence offers an assortment of configurations from 1+k to 4+k, allowing individuals, couples, and families with children to find the perfect option. An elegant, spacious maisonette is available for the most demanding guests.

Owners have the option of customizing their units to their liking with all units offered in white wall or shell and core standards, which allow them to personalize the interior as they see fit.
