Ottawa [ Canada Travel ]: In what seems to be a bizarre tour advisory, Canada has recommended its citizens to keep away from all journeys to areas in the states of Gujarat, Punjab, and Rajasthan, which percentage a border with Pakistan because of the “presence of landmines” and “unpredictable security scenario.”
“Avoid all tours to areas within 10 km of the border with Pakistan in the following states because of the unpredictable security scenario and presence of landmines and unexploded ordnance: Gujarat, Punjab Rajasthan,” the advisory states.
