My family knows me as the meticulous one. Since childhood, I have been meticulous in ensuring that things are placed neatly and correctly in their intended place. Even in school, when we all had common-looking notebooks, uniforms, shoes, school bags, etc., I had a habit of differentiating them from others. I would often put a different looking cover, or have a colour code or atleast keep it differently which made my things stand out from the rest.
This habit made sure that I was the most organized student in my class allowing me to score better. With all my assignments complete on time, my notebooks were in high demand as they were always complete. Recently, my father saw the hint of that age-old habit when I was choosing from a range of Renault KWID accessories for my new KWID.
Eventually, this habit became stronger and proved to a very big advantage for me later in life. Today, in my small start-up, projects are executed on time, with optimal resources and that too with accuracy. Also, by branding them differently, I can make them stand out of the crowd and earn better revenues than my competitors. Thus differentiating myself from others has not only helped me in my personal life but in my professional life too.
This was also one of the reasons why I bought the Renault KWID. The car’s design principle of maximizing things in the minimal space differentiated it from other cars. This appealed to me greatly as I felt that it resonated with my life in multiple ways.
For me, the KWID’s SUV inspired look resonates greatly with my aspirations. So while I was buying my KWID, I decided to adorn it with some practical and useful accessories that would add a touch of my personality to the car. The objective was not only to differentiate the car from others but also to enhance the car's functionality.
The first things that I decided to tackle were the exterior accessories. Here, I added alloy wheels which reduced the car's weight and also made it look great. Then, I added the front grille chrome insert and the rear bumper chrome strip which further added to the SUV look of the car. Finally, I added the roof-rail which made its aggressive stance look even more aggressive.
On the inside, I added the red highlight steering cover which stood out prominently on the dark-coloured dashboard. I even added chrome to the gear bezel. They both made the two most used things in the car stand out. Fortunately, the Renault KWID accessories had a wide range of seat covers to choose from. I chose the ones which matched the colour of my car, Fiery Red.
To enhance the functionality of my KWID further, I added the ORVM Blinkers, front parking sensors, and illuminated scuff plates. While some more options were available like the 3D mats on the inside and puddle lamp and under-body light on the outside, I decided to add them after my first service.
Fortunately, the Renault KWID accessories are designed so well that unlike other cars, they don’t make your car look gaudy at all. In fact, besides looking like a part of the standard accessories, some of them prove to be very useful while driving.
Just like the value for money price of the KWID that starts at only Rs. 2.99 Lacs (ex. Showroom Delhi), I was surprised that even its accessories were priced quite reasonably.
When the car was finally ready, my family thought that in stark contrast to my usual behaviour, I had forgotten to personalize it. But I am not going to tell them that the plush seats that they are sliding into or the way I can park the car in a tight parking slot is courtesy my Renault KWID accessories only.
