Draws for Expressions of Interest (EOI) are being held back-to-back by the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).
The SINP held its sixth EOI draw for the month on September 15 and invited 326 applicants from two categories: Express Entry and Occupation In-Demand.
Here are the details of the most recent SINP draw:
Candidates for Express Entry with specific NOC codes received 53 invitations. The required minimum score was 60 and invited candidates received an assessment of their educational credentials (ECA). Not all occupations were chosen.
Occupation In-Demand candidates with specified NOC codes received 273 invitations. The required minimum score was 60 and invited candidates completed an evaluation of their educational credentials (ECA). Not all occupations were chosen.
The following NOC codes are associated with the occupations that are eligible for the EOI selection in the most recent SINP draw for both Express Entry and Occupation in Demand candidates:
7237 - Welders and related machine operators
7241 - Electricians (except for industrial and power systems)
7242 - Industrial electricians
7271 - Carpenters
7312 - Heavy-duty equipment mechanics
7321 - Automotive service technicians, truck and bus mechanics, and mechanical repairers
The need for Saskatchewan's application inventory determines the SINP EOI draws' size, frequency, and minimum score requirement. With some exceptions, draws are usually held weekly, and the dates of such EOI draws are not made public in advance.
How are the SINP EOI works?
One active Expression of Interest (EOI) profile is all that a candidate may have in the SINP, and that profile is only good for a year after it is submitted.
Candidates who successfully submit their EOI are added to the pool of eligible candidates who have submitted their EOIs. Candidates are ranked after entering the pool according to the data in their EOI profiles. For both Express Entry and Occupation In-Demand, the top candidates are invited to apply to the SINP.
EOI draws are held every week to issue ITAs.
The Saskatchewan PNP will contact candidates via email and use an electronic system. Candidates who meet the requirements can log in using the same credentials they used to submit EOIs if given an ITA.
