Re: Phone Theft Simults

Early in the morning of

Saturday, Sept 7th,

my phone was stolen

in the dark, on 6th Street.

I awakened to see a

black man running away

onto Grand Street.

I opened my Bible twice,

and the second reading

was in Ecclesiastes,

about the wicked.

I then read in the novel

The Grand Complication,

that the book was about

the Theft of a watch in 1823,

and a Librarian named

Alexander Short, who is

enlisted by a wealthy

Library patron, to help him

track down the watch, which

was owned by Marie Antoinette ...

I shared the Ecclesiastes

Simults with "Claude" at

Starbucks.

Claude was delighted

with the simults, highlighting

the omniscience of God.

I tried to show "Claude" the

additional Simults in

The Grand Complication,

but he wasn't interested,

because it was just a book...

Later that day, I read that

the protagonist in the book,

Alexander,

was accidentally called

"Claude" by the wealthy

collector...

Farther on, the protagonist

learns that the Wealthy man

is secretly writing a historical

novel, using the Librarian's life

as material, and he calls

his character "Claude Page".

As in Oliver Twist, mentioned in

the book, a kindly benefactor

restored my loss ...

For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

And he spake to them a parable;

Behold the fig tree,

and all the trees;

30

When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.

31

So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

Luke 22 kjv

The Theft took place

at the Fig tree on 6th...
