What Is the Most Important Thing to Keep In Mind Before Buying a TV Set?

Who does not like a big screen at home with the best resolution and picture quality? However, with so many models available in the market, not knowing what you should invest in can end up wasting quite a significant amount of money.

While the size, budget and technology are important things to keep in mind before making your purchase, the most important thing is the screen resolution. Since the basic utility of a television set is for viewing movies, a sharper image will always be preferred.

There are mainly three kinds of TVs you should consider when it comes to resolution, namely, the Full HD model, a 4K and 8K. Further, in this article, you will find more information about the same and some guidance as to what you should buy.

What Kind of Screen Resolution Should You Go With?

In the term’s most basic sense, a screen resolution mainly refers to the number of pixels that make it. It can be seen in vertical and horizontal columns, each portraying the colour to show the full image. This goes to say that more pixels are always better as they will be able to portray sharper and more vibrant images.

For the longest time, a full HD screen that has 1920 x 1080 pixels across the screen has been considered the standard and still continues to be one of the most common resolutions found across the world. Nevertheless, with the advent of technology, most TV manufacturers and buyers are moving towards Ultra HD sets, more popularly known as 4K. When compared to full HD TVs of today, a 50 inch 4k TV will have four times more pixels with a resolution of 3840 x 2160.

There are quite a few advantages of buying a 4K TV, the biggest one being more detailed images. A number of streaming services have also understood the shift in consumer habits and have started offering better video resolutions like 4k. A 43-inch 4k android TV will be enough for all your TV viewing needs, be it a movie or playing games.

Having said that, the 50 inch 4k TV price will be much higher when compared to the other common models. This is why you should always keep in mind the budget you are ready to spend. While it is still quite okay to buy a Full HD TV, a 4K model will make your investment future-proof.

Should You Invest in an 8K Model Just Yet?

While 4K TV sets are still quite new to the market, 8K models have already started being introduced. These television screens have a resolution of 7680 x 4320 pixels and offer images that are even sharper. However, now is not the best time to invest in an 8K TV?

While it is not wrong that the viewing experience is a lot better, but there is not much content that you can find in 8K. So even if you have the budget and buy yourself an 8K 43 inch smart TV, it is not of much use just yet.
