LIST OF CHANGES MADE 

 

1. Intro
-Used "Graduation Day" without the skit as the intro (that was the original CD intro).
-Fused that with another intro from one of Kanye's early mixtape.


2. We Don't Care
-Used the "I Just Wanna Stop" by The Jimmy Castor's Bunch sample as the intro of the track with the CD's Intro led in.
-Also incorporated a instrumental in the middle of the track, with the original sample again at the end of the track with a snipped from Graduation Day.

 

3. We Don't Care (Reprise) (feat. Keyshia Cole)
- No Changes

 

4. All Falls Down
-Used the original Lauryn Hill, "Mystery of Iniquity" sample.
-Followed by a live performance of All Falls Down w/ John Legend as the intro.
-Used the end of the Lauryn Hill sample as the outro.


5. I'll Fly Away
-Used a instrumental to lead into the vocals.


6. Spaceship
-Used the original Marvin Gaye "Distant Lover" sample as the intro.
-Made a change to the first hook.
-At the end of the track, I incorporated a live performance of Spaceship w/ John Legend and GLC.


7. Jesus Walks
-Used the Walk With Me sample by the ARC Choir as an intro.
-Incorporated the original Jesus Walks intro into the beginning of the track.
- Added the remix at the end with Ye's verse and Mase's prayer.


8. Never Let Me Down
-Started the track, with the original sample by Blackjack's 'Maybe It's The Power of Love'.
-Followed with the beginning of the cinematic version of NLMD.
-Replaced J Ivy's verse with a spoken word version he did.
-This was followed again by the NLMD cinematic version after J Ivy's verse and after Jay-Z's second verse.


9. Get Em High
-Started the track with a short instrumental that faded in.-The verse arrangement was Kanye/Kanye/Kweli/Common and I rearranged it too Kanye/Common/Kanye/Kweli 
-Left a little gap between Kanye's verse and Kweli's verse as well.


10. The New Workout Plan
-The track starts with the Workout Plan skit that I layered in a background instrumental.
-Second, for Kanye's spoken intro, I replaced it with the version from the original NWP song
-Used the hook from the original song for the first hook.
-Used the Fonzworth Bentley remixed verse from the music video after Kanye's second verse.
-Used Tracee Ellis Ross's skit from the music video in the middle of the track covered over a instrumental.

 


11. Slow Jamz
-Starts off with the original sample of Luther Vandross, "A House is Not a Home" as a intro.
-Jamie's intro is layered over the Luther sample.
-Used Twista's second verse from the music video twice at the end of the song
-Followed by the hook twice at the end.

 

12. The Good, The Bad, The Ugly
-No Changes

 

13. Breathe In Breathe Out
-Used "Precious, Precious" by Jackie Moore as an intro
-Followed by a short instrumental.

 


14. School Spirit
-Used Skit #1 as an intro layered over an instrumental
-Followed by the Aretha Frnaklin, "Spirt in the Dark" sample.
-Started the main track with a short instrumental.
-Used Kanye's "Good Life" song in the 1st verse for like 2 seconds. (Its makes sense just listen).
-Ended the track with Skit #2.
-This the explicit version.

 


15. Lil Jimmy da Skit
-Used the skit's vocals as the intro followed by the skit.

 


16. Two Words
-Started off with the cinematic version of TW
-Added it again after Kanye's verse in the middle of the track.
-Ended the track with the cinematic version.

 

17. My Way
- Original sample by Irene Reid as the intro.

 


18. Through the Wire
-Used the original sample of Chaka Khan's "Through the Fire" as the intro.
-After the whole original track plays in full, the remix of Through the Wire plays for it's entirety.

 


19. Family Matter
-For the intro, I used "Fonky Thangs" the sample by The Dells
-Followed by the beginning of the demo version of Family Business.
-Rest of the track is a back and forth between the OG Family Business and parts of Family Matters by Chance the Rapper.

 


20. Last Call
-Started the track off with the Mr. Rockefeller sample.
-After Kanye's rapping/singing part in Last Call, I cut to a hour long interview I found on YouTube, "Kanye West - Before the Wolves - 2002 interview" and layered the parts I thought were best fit over the Last Call instrumental.
