Clouds and Global Warming
“Contrails tend to warm the Earth’s surface, similar to thin high clouds”. — Joyce Penner, PhD

Joyce Penner - UN/IPCC Report Concludes Aircraft Contrails Are Warming the Climate
NASA Clouds and Radiation Explained - Helpful post confirms the current "orthodox" scientific position on cloud mechanisms that produce net cooling or net warming. Obviously missing is any discussion of the warming effect of contrails and spreading contrails (homomutatus) even though a 2011 study found that airplane contrails are worse than CO2 emissions for global warming.
NSF Clouds - The Wildcard of Global Warming - Helpful animation conceptualizes the mechanism clouds in affecting surface temperatures. This post confirms there is a consensus opinion that the issue of clouds and their effect on surface warming is scientifically "uncertain" even when other climate models are allegedly predicting far more complex climate interactions with such certainty that the UN/IPCC has somehow declared of faux "consensus" of scientific opinion.
