Ingredients:
One gallon of water
1 tbs of yeast
4.5 cups of sugar
1. Pour sugar into gallon water container. Shake until evenly dissolved.
2. Heat a different amount of water to 120 F. Hot to touch but not scalding.
3. Place yeast into that warm water to activate.
4. Mix the yeast water and the sugar water together in the gallon container.
5. If it's your first time the. place a ballon on top of container creating a seal. If balloon inflates fully then you are doing it right and you should take it off later otherwise it'll explode and your mom will ask why your closet smells like a bakery.
6. Allow sit for as long as you want. The longer is sits the stronger it'll get but there will be a point when the yeast dies off and it won't get any stronger. Recommend a month or so.
7. Chill to a cold temperature or just keep really still to ensure yeast settles to bottom and sticks together. If you're careful not to shake it and don't drink to the bottom then you don't have to filter it. (Optional if in a hurry)
8. Filter through 2 coffee filters changing out filters as needed to remain conducive to filtering. Ensure yeast residue is kept to a minimum. Ideal complexion as clear as possible but faint pale yellow tint is likely.
9. Mix with flavoring of your choice and ask that one edgy girl to prom with the promise of a lot of shine.
I lived on a lake so we codenamed it "Lake Water." Got up to like 14% alcohol content probably. Never got to really experiment with changing the quantity of sugar vs yeast vs fermentation time so this might not even be the most efficient way.
