Pocket Knife

A pocket knife is often the first choice for self-defense for plenty of reasons. It is a folding knife that can be carried pretty easily in the pocket. It is the only knife which is designed to be a pocket carry. It has a foldable blade which can be folded inside the handle. This makes it easier to carry it in the pocket. Since the blade is folded and locked inside the handle, there is no chance of any accidental injury. So, you will always feel comfortable while carrying it. The blade is a small one but has the ability to inflict serious injuries. When you need to defend yourself, you have a battle-ready self-defense knife. Just deploy the blade and do the damage to the attacker. Your survival is certain!

Karambit Knife

Karambit knife is a fabulous knife used for self-defense these days. However, it is not an unfamiliar self-defense weapon. Go back to the early days in the Philippines where this knife was used even by the women for self-defense. It is a beautiful, but powerful knife. There is a curved blade which was originally used for slashing actions. In the modern days, you have both the fixed blade and folding karambits. So, you have the luxury to have both. In any form or shape, it is equally effective for self-defense. A fixed blade karambit offers strength while a folding karambit is easy to carry.

Dagger Knife

Dagger is a small-sized knife, mainly used for combat. Since it has proven to be a handy self-defense weapon in the past, it is now adopted as a knife for defense against the attackers. Previously, it served as the main weapon in close quarters combat. Its longer and pointed blade can injure the attacker severely.

Stiletto Knife

The stiletto knife is one of the most badass self-defense knives. It has a brief history behind it. It hails from Italy which is why it is known as Italian Stiletto knife. It looks like a dagger, but it isn’t necessarily a dagger knife. It has a slightly longer blade with needlepoint at the bottom of the blade. Like a dagger, it can penetrate deep. Hence, it is a terrifying knife that can tear the attacker into pieces. Why not prefer a knife that seems dangerous to the attacker? As you pull it out, you are likely to make the attacker escape without even trying to attack you. So, if you want to make him fear you instead, carry a stiletto.
