Common types of infectious diseases in kids

There are many diseases that can infect children. Some can be from the body, such as parasites. Others may be from the environment, such as animal bites, contaminated foods, or air. All infectious diseases are divided into four main categories, as follows:

  1. Virus infected. If you suspect that your children have been infected by a virus, it is important to immediately consult a doctor or pediatrician. Virus infections can quickly become serious as they interfere with the cells of the body and cause rapid multiplication.

  1. Bacteria-infected. Bacteria can be introduced to the body through cuts, wounds, blood to blood transfusions, blood to blood, etc. They are responsible for a wide range of communicable diseases and infectious diseases in children, such as meningitis and respiratory tract infections. A particular bacteria can also be responsible for several types of skin disease in children.

If a specialist is not consulted, it may become even more serious. If left untreated, fungal infections can lead to chronic infection in deeper tissues. This could even cause cancerous symptoms. Modern medications can easily treat most fungal infections in children. Most children and infants will experience some type of fungal infection in their lifetime.
