Rhythm Sprout Release Window Revealed in New Trailer

Indie game publisher TinyBuild shares a new trailer for its upcoming rhythm game, Rhythm Sprout, which also includes details on its release window, features, and modes. This game was revealed back in April for the Nintendo Switch, where players assume the job of an onion sprout that must guard their homeland from an invading sovereign known as King Sugar Daddy. Similar as other rhythm games, such as Muse Dash or the Taiko no Tatsujin series, players need to tap along to the beat on schedule with the music.

In Rhythm Sprout, players need to not just move and evade on schedule with the music, yet they will also be attacking enemies as they show up. With the game's emphasis on vegetables and food-theming, there are a lot of charming and colorful visuals that upgrade its premise. This includes a number of food-themed boss battles in this consumable rhythm game.

This trailer reveals that this game will be released in the first quarter of 2023, and can be wishlisted on Steam. It also reveals the platforms it is aiming for, including Xbox and PlayStation alongside the previously declared Switch version. The trailer also notes that a free demo of Rhythm Sprout will be accessible for fans to evaluate at this moment.

The demo for Rhythm Sprout seems to be as of now only on PC, with it featuring a story that will only be told in the demo. This probably will only provide the player with a taste of what to expect from the story in terms of its tone, characters, and more. The trailer also highlights a number of modes that can be played through the game, adding to the assortment of gameplay styles and how it can mix things up for the typical player. This includes a Super Mode, Mirror Mode, Shuffle, and a Totally Random mode, with that last one masking the input players need up until the last couple of seconds.

Every one of the stages that have been previously showcased in the Steam Next Fest are accessible in this demo, along with two brand-new stages and cutscenes. There is a total of five stages in this demo, with every one of them being accessible to play alongside the aforementioned novel modes. Rhythm Sprout will also feature a number of remixed levels and modifiers that will add additional challenges and replayability, giving players the opportunity to also open various skins for shield and weapons.
