  • Back or breast pain

In case your back or breasts hurt, your sports bra is not proper. It may also mean that you are wearing a bra with wrong amount of support- you must not wear the same bra for running and yoga.

  • Bra is too tight

This happens when bra rides up your back or the bra is on the tightest hook. Even when straps fit well, it is the bra band which offers the most support in a sports bra. So, the band should fit snugly and be not too tight.

  • Painful straps

This is when straps are digging into your skin. With various styles available, you can determine what you prefer but whether it is a racer-back or a wide set strap, it is not right if straps are digging in.

Though there are many types, sports bra for women can be divided into 2 categories:

  • Compression bras:

These press your breast against your chest and are typically pulled on over your head.

  • Encapsulation bras

They have two cups like a normal bra but offer more support. While using these, ensure that centerpiece lies flat against the breastbone.
