Now this is important because subjective assessment is a key to great health at such an age as people are more likely to develop psychosomatic diseases.

 

These are diseases which are born in the brain and then begin to find manifestation. Moreover such people showing successful ageing exude good mental health and exhibit a degree of composure which puts them in a different league altogether.

 

If the older members of our society obtain social support from us, they can fight ageing far better. If we can show them that we care for them and in our heart we have a pride of place for them, then they would not fall vulnerable to much psychology and society induced disorders.

 

They need to feel confident that they are wanted.

Further if a person is satisfied about fulfilling most of the duties of his life well, then there is a fair chance that he will age in a more graceful manner.
