U. of Alaska Lies About HAARP ELF Mind Control Capability

The University of Alaska must take responsibility for spreading disinformation about the operation of the HAARP facility in Gakona, Alaska.

Taxpayers should want to know why Bob McCoy, director of the Geophysical Institute at the University of Alaska, misrepresented the facts when he claimed the HAARP facility was not capable of generating ELF frequencies (Extremely Low Frequencies) that are known to produce mood changes in humans.

During the August 25th Open house, McCoy attempted to debunk reports that HAARP was capable of generating ELF frequencies that could be applied as a form of mind control.

An excerpt from 8/26/18 Anchorage Daily News:

The former governor of Minnesota, Jesse Ventura, claims HAARP is a mind-control device. Others say it can control the weather. Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez said it was used to create the devastating 2010 Haiti earthquake.

None of that is possible, says Bob McCoy, director of the Geophysical Institute at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, which operates HAARP.

"No, it's not a weapon, and it couldn't be," he said, standing under the towering antennas. "The way high-frequency radios work is that the atmosphere is transparent to those signals. If we made this 10 times bigger and tried, we still couldn't affect the weather. Minds? Electrical signals in the mind are very low frequency. HAARP is very large frequency, the waves are meters-long. So there's no way they could control minds."

What McCoy failed to disclose to his audience is that large frequencies where "the waves are meters long" can actually equate to Low or ELF frequencies.

For example, the Schumann Resonance is 7.83 Hz (cycle per second) with a wavelength or 38,287 kilometers. It may be no coincidence the circumference of the earth (minus the atmosphere) is said to be 40,000 kilometers. (7.49 Hz).
