Daniel contacted Claire several month's ago from overseas. He was planning a beach wedding for his bride when he returned to the U.S.
He was originally planning on a December
wedding, but his return was pushed back and he ended up having to reschedule for late February.

Once we knew he was back in the States, we e-mailed him just to touch base and go over the final details, but we didn't hear back for several days, which was unusual.
When he finally did reply, he said, "Sorry I took so long to get back to you. Have a good reason for that. Long story short, with everything we've talked about.
There was one little thing that I hadn't done yet. And that was to actually ask Dawn to marry me! So I have and she said yes. So I don't have to goto my Plan B!".
We have no idea what "Plan B" was, but we're glad Dawn said yes with only two days' notice! Afterwards, Dawn said it was the best wedding she could have ever dreamed of - she didn't have to plan a thing!
Daniel and Dawn were married on Treasure Island's beautiful Sunset Beach, on a breezy and slightly chilly evening. But the sun finally came out just before sunset, and they got some great wedding pictures - with Daniel in traditional Irish (not Scottish) kilt! Below are a few of our favorites.
