Major Goals and Responsibilities of PBX Operators:
- Set up and maintain workstations and equipment for employees.
- Monitor help desk requests and facilitate the timely resolution.
- Provide initial Level 1 support for desktop, workstations/phones, Microsoft Office applications and LiveTrack.
- Communicate with and take direction from IT Management team and LiveTrack Systems Support Team.
Essential Activities
- Monitor help desk requests, track help desk tickets, and follow up to ensure timely resolutions.
- Interpret/troubleshoot employee IT issues and guide the employee through corrective steps to resolve problems.
- Provide initial Level 1 support for workstations/phones, Microsoft Office applications and LiveTrack.
- Set up and maintain fully functional workstations for employees, including computer and telephone equipment.
- Ensure IT equipment is fully stocked and maintained, including the office printer.
- Communicate with and take direction from IT management team and LiveTrack Systems Support team.
