Why We Celebrate Passover

Today, encompassed by enemies, the Hebrew nation influences same predicament. How can they survive? What makes their spirit continue through pogroms and genocide? And, exactly what is the true concept of Passover?

Persecution is intensely malevolent and pervasive. Humans are particularly wicked collectively. 3300 years back, Moses pleaded with Pharaoh to free his people from persecution and slavery. 10 plagues that followed forced him to produce the Jews. Yet even though the worst plague coming from all, the destruction with the firstborn of Egypt, Pharaoh pursued the Jews in the Red Sea, where his soldiers were swept away. We have the energy to disregard fanaticism. We've the courage to combat for freedom. This can be the specification of Passover. We could make our very own miracles by fighting to free the oppressed.

Humans are not God. But we've the power of choice. We can easily put it to use to enslave as well as to liberate. We can easily persecute or accept others. This Easter and Passover, allow us to vow to utilize our power choice to fight for mercy, justice and liberty.
