Dalson Park, we propose a wide range of Horse Riding Lessons, in sets or confidentially, to ensure there is something to suit every rider of all levels, our lessons are proper for anyone from 4 years and up and are graded from Novice to Extension classes. Children and adults outing separately because of the dissimilar ways children and adults study. Horse Riding Facilities
Dalson Park is situated on 7 1/2 acres of land within easy reach of Brisbane, Logan, and the Gold Coast.
Our horse riding facilities include both indoor and outdoor arenas which means our lessons run rain, hail, or shine. Our indoor arena allows lessons to run no matter the weather and has a Soiltex surface to provide our horses and riders with the safest possible riding. Our outdoor arena is a full size Olympic arena. Both our arenas are irrigated to reduce dust, as well as to provide a pleasant riding experience for our riders and horses. We also undertake daily grading to provide safe and solid footing.
Dalson Park has 12 stables with yards, plus 6 tack up bays. We also have numerous paddocks for our horses to enjoy during the day.
On site we have a staff of 6 coaches and 6 stable hands working to ensure that our equine partners get the best of care. Our stable staff are always available to assist riders with their horses both before and after their lessons.

Horse Riding Lessons
Todd McDonald has been riding since 8 years of age. He has competed extensively in show jumping and later in dressage, having competed up to Prix St George level. Todd’s riding experience includes having trained overseas in the USA and South Africa.
Todd has been a full time coach for over 18 years and has coached children through to nationally competitive riders.
Todd is great coach if you are looking to expand your knowledge and would love a coach that teaches from a positive point of view and has the ability to get the best out of you and your horse.
Robyn McDonald
Horse Riding Lessons
Robyn McDonald has been coaching at Dalson Park for over 10 years and has a deep love of horses that she enjoys passing on to her students. She came late to riding, starting in her 20s, and enjoyed the dressage side of riding the most.
Robyn understands the challenges and confidence issues that can arise in a riding environment and believes in building confidence and skills gently.
Robyn achieves great success with riders that need to rebuild their ability and skills, and who are coming back to riding or starting for the first time.

Private Horse Riding Lessons
Dalson Park provides outstanding riding lessons, with quality coaches and well-educated horses, teaching adults and children, no matter your experience level, to ride correctly and safety from the beginning. If quality is what you are after, this is the school for you and your family. Our Private Lessons are half an hour or one hour in length. They are with one of our experienced coaches, who you can request, and are a great way for working on issues that have occurred in your group lessons. They can also be a great way to regain lost confidence or to boost your theory knowledge and riding skill.
ADULT GROUP LESSONS
Horse Riding Lessons Gold Coast
Adult Group Lessons are one hour in length and have between 2 to 6 riders per lesson. They are coached by one of our experienced coaches and are graded to suit the your ability and designed for consistent progression and learning. Our group lessons provide a great social environment with lots of laughs and learning, and our coaching is designed to develop your theory knowledge as well as riding skill.

Children’s Group Lessons are one hour in length. They are coached by one of our experienced coaches and there are between 2 and 6 children in each lesson. Lessons are all graded to suit the your child’s ability and designed for consistent progression and learning. The coaching is specifically designed for how children learn. A great way for your child to make new friends and have lots of fun.

Dalson Park coaches collectively have over 120′ years riding and equine experience. Dalson Park is the longest running riding school in Brisbane and has been operating as a riding school for over 38 years. Todd and Robyn bought the centre in 2000.
