A computer-generated architectural animation is essentially a short film. The construction site, surrounding landscape, and even the people and cars within are all rendered in 3D on a computer. The term "computer 3D animation" describes the process of making animated films in a three-dimensional virtual space. Animation, then, is the deliberate manipulation of three-dimensional models within three-dimensional computer software in order to create the illusion of movement.
