If you can't install Day patch then :
1. go to C:
2. Create folder named GOG GAMES
3. Copy the Gale finder to this folder
4. Apply reg file
5. Install update
6. Run game from C:\GOG GAMES\The Witcher 3 wild Hunt\bin\x64
7. That's all
If you have installed game in other then default directory then
By default the reg-file points to "c:\gog GAMES\The Witcher 3 - wild Hunt" folder.
if you installed the game to another one, edit reg-file, putting your path in there.
in example, if you installed the game to
c:\Program Files\The Witcher ill
replace all pathes in reg-file with
c:\\Program Files\\The Witcher ill
with double \, as shown above
Then you can import the reg-file to the registry & the game will be accessible by future GOG patches. save the file as witcher3.reg and click on it.
Before clicking on .reg file & importing it to the registry, make sure the pathes in it correspond to where your copy of The Witcher 3 is located.
If you are getting game not found then
- Press Windows + R button
- Type regedit.exe & press enter
- Go to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\GOG.com\Games\1207664643] and change value of
EXE from 'C:\The Witcher 3 Wild HuntWbin\x64Wwitcher3.exe' to your Install Directory - That' all
