8.30. woke up. late for work. had to catch a bus 
 

9.15. reached the office at last. they dont seem to care anyway. sat down. opened photoshop & digitized scanned background sketches for hours. 
 

12.01. lunchtime. friends decided to eat pizza at the balcony upstairs. ordered pizza. 
 

12.26. pizza arrived. peered down & saw the animation director Shivonne meeting up with her friends from outside, seems like they're pretty excited about something. 
 

15.20. overheard the (head animator) dwy's conversation with shivonne. the latter, with her musician friend zephyra, are going to some festival, probably perform somewhere. ugh, im all up for music festivals but the thought of them performing disgusts me. i should be performing instead, with my friends. we should be in their shoes. we make songs too. 
 

16.28. couldn't concentrate. at least i finished two backgrounds up to this point. 
 

18.30 caught the bus home. 
 

19.15 grabbed some snacks i havent tried yet in the convenience store

12.35. leftover squid from friends who are allergic to seafood. bless them and their allergies. i dont have to spend a single banknote today. 
 

15.09. sang a random tune. made up lyrics. recorded an impromptu song. saved. one more background to draw.

7.30. whoa thats early. at least i can still do some extra work before i go to the office today. oh and upload the song on soup... or tumblr... or reverbnation... friends say soundcloud isn't the best option though a lot of people used it. copyright issues maybe? sure it looks like we can reshare tracks like tumblr & soup, but it doesnt carry the original poster's name... oh wait. it does. i wonder why my friends are upset with soundcloud anyway.

8.19 today is gonna be awesome i know it. got my mug in the office, done some extra assignments, got my song online... 
 

8.23 berwald (keyframist/clean-up artist) saw the mug, made remarks about shivonne having it as well. told him i had it for a year or so, joked about how she's copying me. we laughed. we both know it's a coincidence. 
 

9.00. task of the day?  lip-syncing characters to songs i've made. we're making an animated music video. this will take weeks. 
 

10;40. general shivonne passed by to check on progression. saw my mug, asked if i bought it from the same store as hers & answered yes, but maybe in a different branch. she chuckled, made remarks on my progression and left. 
 

11.00. coffee break. got travia (audio composer friend n fellow singer) to go with me to the kitchenette. grabbed some vanilla latte sachets n flooded our glasses. overheard the shivonne talking about her bff zephyra's performance at the festival two nights ago with some other directors. went improv & trained travia to make up stories on the spot about US performing on some kind of music festival, since us both can make music. hoping the directors overhear us. 
 
 

12:23. lunch break. the cafe next door cooked us some staff food. the gang and i ate lunch at the balcony again. 
 
 

12:25 checked soup, tumblr and reverbnation. a few people liked my song. some of them commented on the lyrics' silliness. hah. 
 
 

12:30 trav blabbed to her audio composer friends about how we both pretended like we went to the music festival in front of the directors in the kitchenette just now. boje n kj remarked it as improv gold. pffft as if.
 

13:00 found out the head animator owns a webcomic. read it for the lulz. 
 

13:30 oh no i spent too much reading the webcomic i better get back to work 
 

14:45 doodled some comic ideas for my own webcomic. never thought some strips from the dwy's webcomic would spark some ideas, some are quite enviable. cough. and copiable. cough wheeze. 
she is the head animator after all, automatically a higher position, automatically enviable. 
 

14:46 there goes my singing voice. gone for 4 days. better steal some time to make these comics, dwy and her circle of friends dont even know about my webcomic.

19:00 12 lip-sync animated scenes and 4 comic strips done. asked shivonne an excuse to work overtime & maybe stay in the office. she said yes. im free to rule this cubicle at last mwahahaha
 

22:00. uploaded new comic strips on the webcomic, finished all 20 lip-sync scenes, notified ilona and the clean-up artists to clean them tomorrow via email, aaand more people reshared, reposted and reblogged my silly song via loads of social media. just as expected. welp, time to snooze.

2:54 woke up to noises in the office. realized i was in the office. better grab my phone & turn on the voice recorder just in case stuff happens & unsuspected evidence is needed. 
 
 

8:13 woke up for real. thought everything was just a dream but turns out it wasnt, cuz i recorded a really long, actual voice note last night. 
 
 

8:50 got a task to sketch storyboards for 6 commercials today. this can be done before 12. heh. 
 

12;00: ok i'm wrong, i only did storyboards for 3 commercials, dang it. buuut at least some people noticed my webcomic update. 
 

12:03 lunch at a cheap steak restaurant quite far from the office. it's been a while since i meet my game designer friends again. so there's 9 of us sitting now, sharing weird stories again. suddenly remembered the recording i took last night. shared the voice clip in our whatsapp group & we all listened with headphones. lots of rustling, dropping things, more rustling, some weird rubbery bouncy stuff, and uhh moaning? Ilona (background cleanup artist friend) suggested some people sneaked in the office to have sex. that's gross. then iremembered our office kept a waterbed for fun on the floor that we all work in. i have no opinion on it but im glad no robbery was planned that day. 
 

13:03 found dwy's instagram. saw her sketches and stuff. screenshot some of them for future references 
 

14:00 back at the office and super full. sketched more storyboards and at the same time, why not discreetly try sketching similar stuff as miss head animator? but with my webcomic characters? aw yiss this will look great on my molome. thank god i dont have instagram. they'd all be at my neck. 
 

14:36 has queen dwy fallen into the serial victim category? oh no. oh yes. 
 

14:58 stressed out. too much things to sketch. i just had to semi-replicate dwy's personal/webcomic sketches 
by today, otherwise the green-eyed monster won't let me concentrate or sit still, even. 
 

15:17. browsed through shivonne's tumblr. she reblogged zephyra's blog post about the music festival 3 nights ago. which reminds me, ishould write an improv blog post about that make-believe scenery with travia and i going to the same music festival and performed there. oh boo hoo, more work. 
 

15:20 surprise surprise, the director peered over my desk all of a sudden. switched my blog tab to some other tab. whew it was only progression check. told her im on my last commercial's storyboard. asked if the clean-up artists finished the lip-sync scenes. shivonne said they're 3/4ths done and planning to wrap up everything by tonight. 
 

15:21 shivonne then asked me to pose with her holding our mugs filled with her homemade juice cuz we have the same-looking mugs. just our hands with the mugs, toasting, i just noticed her stripes and inside were different shades of magenta and orange than mine. mine's more violet and vermillion. snap. 
 
 

15:22 asked shivonne if i can post the photo to my molome since i dont have instagram. fine by her & she sent me the photo. i also asked about if this floor has cctv cameras, cuz i heard voices last night, in the very same room. she shrugged. i made her listen to the voice clip. she seems mortified, probably disgusted, or shocked, or probably she knows something. 
 
 

15:39. continued writing the blog post alongside finishing the last commercial's storyboard. only 6 pages long. 
 
 

15:41. posted the blog post. shared the blog post with friends. they know it's all improv anyway. 
 
 

16:00 got snacks. a whole bunch of different prawn crackers, the same brand, the same series i'm currently tasting. shared with friends, we ate at the balcony. told them about the director's reaction to the voice note. 

 
 

17:00 got some water. peered over at the shivonne's cubicle, her boyfriend gioven came in and gave her a small present. a keychain digital camera with a usb port. duuuuude that item was in my wishlist for months now! why did she have to get one and i don't? 

 

17:05 azka (concept artist friend) saw me sulking. told her i really wanted what shivonne got from her bf. she laughed and said ingvald (her own boyfriend) got her the same thing last week, and im welcome to borrow it anytime within her range until i got my own. 

 

17:07 ilona & berwald said i need to tone down my envy. i laughed. that was sarcasm. 
 
18:50 got home. caught up with all the steven universe and regular show episodes ive missed. oh great, no extra work for me. yknow what that means. 
 

19:00 asked friends working in the same office if they need help with work, some did. made a list. took cabs to go to their places and helped them one by one.

12:00 finished 60% of the rendering. Felt bad for spending money on cabs last night... lets just have instant noodles for lunch, the office kitchen has a drawer full of them.

13:39 saw ilona and berwald sitting together on the rooftop eating lunch from across the window. I knew there's something going on between them. you're right, travia. 

 

14:01 early leave cuz some directors were gonna have a meeting. im probably gonna chill at travia's for a while. her little sister vanja is visiting during the college holidays. the three of us can make songs together. I heard vanja sings good too though she likes those weird dance music and probably k-pop too. which is cool. 

 

14:26 vanja asked me to draw her in a flower crown. ugh that’s annoying. how inconsidera-hooooooold up. I remember dwy drew someone, maybe a friend, in a flower crown too. I bet that I can do the same. why was I too lazy to copy dwy's pen and watercolor stuff before... im gonna ask travia if she has watercolor pencils. 

 

16:23 snapshotted, uploaded to molome and sent to vanja's phone so she can giggle about it. the three of us played raving rabids n mariokart later. then travia & I had to continue making songs in her room cuz vanja wanted to finish playing persona 3 on the ps cuz she said playing from the ds is boring. 

 

18:00 checked twitter. zephyra released a new song on her soundcloud. I wonder why she uses soundcloud anyway like I said my friends said, it wasn’t the best option but my friends could be wrong. I asked travia if we can parody that song in a few minutes. challenge accepted, says travia. 

 

20:54 wahahahahahaha hahahahahahahhahaha uploaded on our tumblr, soup & travia's souncloud!! i don’t wanna post on my reverbnation cuz that’s for my original songs only.

21:34 I think im sleeping over at travia's tonight, borrow some of her clothes and all. it's been fun and productive. watched the new steven universe episode on cn... and whats this? I found chirbit! Its like soundcloud but light blue with some light green n orange... and not really official-looking, maybe I can post my songs and random audio here instead of soup n tumblr. made an account. travia made one too.

8:00 phone rang 
 
8:02 azka. she and ingvald want to take us to watch a waterfall show since I know travia will love, shes got a knack for waterfalls. should we ask vanja to come with too? 

 

9:16 travia says vanja has her friend coming over. soooo a friend of hers live in the same neighborhood as travia, I see. or maybe she just gave them her address. 

 

11:10 made it to the grand battleonian. the 4 of us shared a cab. azka n ingvald wore matching plaid tops and I had to take a snapshot for my molome. theyre lightly punching each other's shoulders, what a cute sadomasochistic couple. travia couldn’t stop blabbing about our parody of zephyra's song & made them listen in our chirbit n soundcloud. 

 

11:59 the waterfall show is about to start aaaaaaa lucky I bought popcorn. the blue popcorn with the blueberry fanta flavor.  

 

12: 38 not even halfway through the show and I'm already halfway on my tub of popcorn. azka got her tiny keychain camera out n took a group selfie. ingvald called us... he saw someone... omg is that... shivonne and gioven? are they on a date? gah! apparently they're using their keychain cam tooooo hng travia mumbled 'ugh copiers, and they say they dont like being copied' n azka pointed out they didn’t notice we were here in the same crowd.

16:56 crossed the bridge, we're at the apartment now. gaaaaasp no way. an elevated swimming pool, and theres a tiny waterfall... 
 
17:10 i, ingvald n travia splashed inside the pool with our clothes on cuz were rebels. azka cant swim, shes just splashing her feet sitting at the side.... wait that window looks really pretty, it's just across us and a bit to the left. wait lemme get my binoculars. ooh pretty silver curtains they remind me of hilary duff's clothes in that lizzie mcguire movie.

17: 30 left the pool still soaked in our clothes. we didnt have change. azka's laughing at our faces cuz she always does that when shes not in as much trouble as us. well at least we got the video... well I got the video... and our phones didn’t end up wet. 

 

19:16 dinner at chilly chili. hot food, cold drinks, just what we need. 

 

19: 20 asked the waiters for cold food n hot drinks for a joke. they didnt laugh but pointed towards soothenseethe, the restaurant just across which apparently serves ice-cream, cold desserts and hot coffee, tea and ginger beverages. welp. 

 

19:50 ingvald secretly taped me failing at my joke and uploaded the clip on his vine. i asked him to send the clip via telegram so i can upload it to my kwai cuz it's basically like vine. 

 

21: took the subway cuz we're too broke to get a cab. too broke to even buy the cheapest clothes in every shop in the grand battleonian. thankfully our clothes have dried a little. the ever-dry azka is still HAH-ing at us.

13:03 hajar corrected me. she said zeph is touring with a couple of dancers, she doesn’t own the event. still, she's up there, on stage, singing her stuff. I'd kill for a chance like that. I complained about how no one's actually aware of my songs I upload online. strov just realized I upload my songs online, and I gave him my reverbnation & chirbit accounts. he just knew about chribit. he checked out my songs on his phone. 

 

14:38 left the restaurant. parted ways. great, theres one more thing to feel bad about myself knowing im not gonna go on stage with a couple of dancers and that i still have a tedious reuploading task to do. hmm I should go home... or maybe go to that book store over there & see if they have the books I like.

16:55 asked them if travia or azka or ingvald told them anything about the trip we had yesterday. they said no, they havent contacted them at all this weekend. whew my secret is safe for now.
