Of course, the Web has become a huge media platform, and the Pentagon and other government agencies are influencing news on the web as well. Documents released by Snowden show that spies manipulate polls, website popularity and pageview counts, censor videos they don’t like and amplify messages they do.

The CIA and other government agencies also put enormous energy into pushing propaganda through movies, televisionand video games.

In 2012, the Pentagon launched a massive smear campaign against USA Today reporters investigating unlawful domestic propaganda by the Pentagon

The School of Life’s brilliant 4-minute video artistically reveals how the .01%’s corporate media continuously lie in omission and commission to keep the 99.99% distracted. The purpose of distraction by corporate media (just six corporations) is to conceal ongoing Empire; the very same quest for Empire taught in schools that led to two world wars.

The Emperor’s New Clothes truth is oligarchic power centered to control the public through war, money, and media. We the People are designated as their work animals: sheeple. The collectivization of Earth’s resources into fewer hands are proven by objective economic data (among hundreds: hereherehere).

The .01% destroy the planet they attempt to dominate. They are not a “master class,” but pathetic self-destructive psychopaths.

We must lawfully arrest them to save ourselves, much of Life on Earth, and even the psychopaths themselves.

If we fail to arrest, we will continue to receive Orwellian inversion what we’re lawfully guaranteed as limited government. American Founders created the US Constitution in light of failed Roman Republic design (herehere, among dozens), and aware previous republics had always self-destructed from corruption within. Among many of the Founders’ admonitions, James Madison was clear that citizen responsibility was essential to maintain a republic, no matter how well the Constitution was designed:

“A mere demarcation on parchment of the constitutional limits (of government) is not a sufficient guard against those encroachments which lead to a tyrannical concentration of all the powers of government in the same hands.”  – James Madison, Federalist Paper #48, 1788.

On September 18, 1787, just after signing the US Constitution, Benjamin Franklin met with members of the press. He was asked what kind of government America would have. Franklin warned:

“A republic, if you can keep it.” In his speech to the Constitutional Convention, Franklin admonished: “This [U.S. Constitution] is likely to be administered for a course of years and then end in despotism… when the people shall become so corrupted as to need despotic government, being incapable of any other.”  – The Quotable Founding Fathers, pg. 39.

These warnings extend to all social science teachers of the present:

“As educators in the field of history–social science, we want our students to… understand the value, the importance, and the fragility of democratic institutions. We want them to realize that only a small fraction of the world’s population (now or in the past) has been fortunate enough to live under a democratic form of government.” – History-Social Science Framework for California Public Schools, pgs. 2, 7-8

We the Awake have the responsibility to continue to speak and take action; pointing to naked facts that end vicious empire in a relative flash of ignition that catch fire with the 99.99% merely trusting their own eyes.

Victory will enact solutions that those of us in various areas of expertise easily explain, document, and prove.

The future can be nearly instantly brighter, more loving, and more creative than we can imagine.

One of my favorite stories about the Cold War concerns a group of Russian journalists who were touring the United States. On the final day of their visit, they were asked by the host for their impressions. “I have to tell you,” said the spokesman, “that we were astonished to find after reading all the newspapers and watching TV day after day that all the opinions on all the vital issues are the same. To get that result in our country we send journalists to the gulag. We even tear out their fingernails. Here you don’t have to do any of that. What is the secret?” (ummm,   money)
