"Pat! What happened to the trail?!" James said.

"Don't be silly, the path is right... there. Well... it was." Patrick said.

"Ugh! You idiot! Give me that." James saiid as he snatched a cellphone from Patrick's hand. The phone was long and metallic, and had buttons on the side. It was unclear as to what company it belonged to, but it had a lot of games and applications on it. It wasn't really amazing technology or anything, just a standard smartphone. Patrick had been using a GPS application to navigate throughout the forest.

Without words, James started walking in his own direction. The only thing Patrick could do was follow along.

"So... where are we goin'?" Patrick said, emotionless.

"Like you need to know, crapface. Find your OWN way out of the forest and go crying back home, I'll handle this myself." James said. Patrick was a 9-year-old and James was a 13-year-old. Both of them were brothers, but they acted like they never knew each-other. Any attempts of communication between them failed, as James would always boast and insult Patrick. Then Patrick decided to just run through the forest. It wasn't a very good idea, but it was the only thing he could do. After all, he didn't want to follow along with James and be insulted all the way through.

Patrick ran far but was only going deeper into the woods, with no sign of humanity anywhere. The only thing he would hear is the occasionally cicada bug making it's noises, or maybe even a bluebird at one point. The rest was just forest ambience, with occasional leaves rustling and some grass blowing in the wind.

And now, he swore he heard a voice.

Patrick thought he could at least get some help, as James was long gone. He shouted towards the voice, but there was no response. Patrick wandered and wandered and never found the source of the voice, but all of a sudden he heard a twig snap behind him. He looked behind him, and nothing was there. When he turned back around he gasped and fell back in fear. "Woah, kid! What are you so afraid of?" the blue entity said, suddenly appearing in Patrick's field of vision. "My name's Galaxia... and YOU look like you need some help."

Galaxia reached her hand out to the boy. Patrick saw that Galaxia was trustworthy, but he couldn't put his finger on it. Patrick accepted Galaxia's offer of kindness as she helped the boy up. "You look pretty bruised. Lemme fix that up for you." Within a second, the boy's injuries from the forest were instantly healed. "There you go! All better."

Patrick glanced around the forest and nodded his head. Galaxia put her hands together. "Now, kid... I'm here to grant a wish for you. You... seem to be in a predicament. Why, you've gotten yelled at a lot from what I can piece together. Now... wish for anything." Patrick knew this opprotunity would never come again, so he opened his mouth. As soon as he did that, Galaxia put her finger on Patrick's mouth in a silencing position and excitingly yelled "Not until you catch me first!"

Patrick quickly got up and chased the creature throughout the forest. He instantly, and correctly, identified the being as mischeivous and playful. Patrick knew if he wanted to get something from her, he had to catch her. But Galaxia was too fast, and zipped around the forest like a cougar. Galaxia hovered up on a tree branch and giggled. Patrick was worn out from the chase, and got on the ground. His sneaker touched the dirt as he put his hand on his knee. Galaxia tilted her head and float down to the child. Galaxia was letting Patrick catch her, which Patrick didn't realize until about a minute in.

Patrick lightly tapped Galaxia on the shoulder as she giggled a little. Galaxia was amused at the boy's chase, even though she was lightning fast. Galaxia float down lower to the boy, with her feet an inch above the ground. "Hey, kid... you did a pretty good job. Sorry about that, I... I got too excited, didn't I? I'm sorry, I really am. Anyways, what was your wish?" Patrick smiled a little and regained some of his breathe as he backed away a bit and put his hands idle on the sides. Patrick opened his mouth and was about to talk, but all of a sudden Galaxia was hit with a stick. Patrick was visually shocked.

"Bro, get down!" James said, covering Patrick. "...forget this ever happened when we get home, you little crap." Patrick nodded as James began to throw everything he could find at Galaxia. Galaxia had a smile on her face as she teleported to avoid all the branches, rocks and sticks. James went headfirst, charging at Galaxia like a wild bull. Galaxia simply floated up and behind James as he charged. Galaxia closed her eyes and giggled once more, waving. James picked up a large tree branch and tried to hit Galaxia. "Woah, kid! You're real energetic! Would you even let me say a word? My name's Galaxia, and... would you stop swinging that thing?!" Galaxia said as the tree branch disappeared right from James' hands. "Don't touch me or my brother, you damn animal!" James said in fury. "Woah. Woah. You got the wrong assumption. I'm here to grant a wish for your bro, he got tired from running and got lost." James was still not convinced, but he knew whatever was hurled Galaxia's way would just be dodged. So James simply said "...fine, but if you dare hurt him I'm calling the cops."

Galaxia smiled as she turned to Patrick. "Make a wish, kid! It's your big chance now." Galaxia said. Patrick opened his mouth and said "I wish to go home from this forest."

Galaxia nodded her head and waved goodbye to Patrick, as he instantly appeared in his bedroom in his pajamas like nothing had ever happened. Galaxia then turned to James, with eyes open wide and a small smile on her face. "Now, what do you wish?"

James was confused as to why Galaxia would let him make a wish now. James tucked Patrick's smartphone in his jeans' pocket and cleared his throat before saying "I want a sword. A REAL one." boastfully. Galaxia shrugged and said "Why the heck not?" as a metal sword suddenly appeared in a stone slab. "But first, get it out of this rock!" Galaxia proudfully said, matching James' previous boastfulness. James attempted to pull the sword for what seemed like hours, but it was only minutes. Galaxia watched James' attempts as he finally gave up. Galaxia sighed and pulled out the sword with ease, handing it over to James. Her last words to James, before he wandered off into the forest, was "Be careful.".

James has shown more kindness to Patrick for some reason after that incident. He didn't know what it was, but he felt it so strongly he even made breakfast for the poor kid for a week. The two never told anyone about the incident no matter what happened. Sometimes at night Patrick has the feeling of being watched, but he couldn't pin a good reason on why. He never stopped to think it was Galaxia. He ignored it and went to sleep every time it happened. Galaxia appeared in Patrick's room one night after he had the feeling again, and placed a small letter on the top of his head. Galaxia waved as she disappeared, saying yet again "Be careful.".
