Dayne Barkley: A young rising Australian actor, aiming for Hollywood

He is passionate for acting is unquestionable due to the fact that he started since he was 15 years of age. But, instead of self proclaiming himself as a popular actor, he has taken the technical and the demanding route to realise his dream.
The acting venture for Dayne Barkley was when his age was of 15 years. First indication of prospective success came to him earlywhen Year 10 high school ensemble, which he was a part of, won the Best Ensemble Performance in Theatre Festival of Monash School for the same year. The competition was between 20 schools in Victoria metropolis and region. In fact, year 10 ensemble performance toured across regional Victoria after the success. Dayne got an eye for Hollywoodwhen he worked as a tennis coach at a summer camp in Maine in the United States.

He started his training at Victorian College of the Arts after his return to Melbourne, his hometown. In 2009,he joined Film &Television Studio International in South Melbourne to extend his training by the year2009. He grew his method as a screen actor while training extensively in South Melbourne. He spent entire 2012 training under singing Coach Jay Contor. That gave Dayne the opportunity to team up with Anthony Perri on acoustic guitar and to perform twice at Burrinja Cafe in Upwey, Victoria. His latest has been the 3-month training to improve groundingsunder Todd Rohrbacher at Actors Comedy Studio in Los Angeles in 2013.
Dayne Barkley is currently signed to Gilchrist Management, Sydney Talent Management. However, since the spark has kindled the flaming desire to reach the top, Dayne has planned to head back to L.A. to break into the US market.
