ما زالت الاشتباكات مستمرة بين مقاتلي التجمع مع باقي الفصائل العسكرية ضد تنظيم داعش في محاولة الأخير اقتحام المعبر الحدودي مع تركيا من الجهة الشرقية للمدينة و تصدي المقاتلين لهم .
إلا أن التنيظم لازال يسيطر على تلة "كاني عرب" الاستراتيجية وأجزاء من حي الصناعة بالإضافة لسيطرته على أجزاء من المربع الأمني ( مركز الأسايش ) و يستهدف بالأسلحة الثقيلة محيط المعبر الحدودي والمقاتلين يدافعون عن الأحياء الخاضعة لسيطرتهم ويُردون قتلى في صفوفهم
