IMPORTANT QUESTION:

Is Nusra fighting IS independent or in alliance with other groups in Aleppo? Which other groups fight IS?

Answer:

Nusra is participating completely independent in their battle against IS in north Aleppo; They have their own fronts against IS.

Nusra has it's own military operation room from where it plans it's strategies & attacks against IS in north Aleppo.

By attacking several places in north Aleppo, IS didn't only create a new battle against Nusra, also against other factions in Aleppo.

These other groups, like some western/arab backed FSA groups fight IS, but they have no connection with Nusra's battle against IS.

Thus again Nusra is being dragged in to fighting of IS because of the agression of IS & the sudden attacks on Nusra fronts.

IS knows very well that Nusra fronts are separated from the fronts of other factions, yet they again chose to attack Nusra front.

Is it acceptable & logic that Nusra doesn't defend it's fronts against IS agression? It's clear for all that IS are the transgressors.

Nusra thus has its complete legal islamic right to defend against the agression of IS, backed with legal verdicts of Jihadi scholars.

Islamic it's fully legal for Nusra to fight against IS. Under the Islamic concept of "Daf'u Sa'il" (Defence against the attacker.)
