Location: Washington, D.C.
Title: Associate Producer
Role: Finding interesting political topics for a daily show and presenting creative ideas for presenting those topics. After the daily topic is selected, the AP would be involved in script writing and planning the visuals. The bulk of the day will be spent research facts, pulling video clips and photos and editing all graphics and scripts for the day’s show.


Requirements:

Aware and interest in U.S. Politics

Strong news judgement

Understanding of journalism ethics

Strong copy editing skills

Great online and database research skills
